What he mean is that the posted calibration is a startup calibration for a completely stock SRT4 only and further tuning will be required.

While the startup calibration may be a good starting point and will save considerable time and money, it will not replace the need to tune the specific application. AEM startup calibrations are tuned conservatively and are not intended to be driven aggressively. Ignoring this can and will damage your engine.

So, use at your own risk!

Yes, this is the base map. Keep in mind, the test car was completely stock with the exception of an AEM Cold Air Intake. The SRT-4 (like most vehicles) requires a rich mixture when running 15psi+ on 91 octane pump gas. AFR's were in the 11's.

I do not know. This was the 2005 SRT-4 dyno run (stock injectors).

what kind of damage could be caused by driving hard with startup caliberation? What general tuning perameters must be adheared to in order to prevent damage?

Turn the option Knock Control to ON if you do not plan to tune the ECU. Most tuners like to tune with it OFF and then turn it ON when completed.
