I have a RSX type S with a 30-1030U unit and I was noticing that there is a Traction Control feature and was wondering if there was any to have that work or do you have to have something in your tranny or not?  Does anyone have any know how as to how this works?  Or how you go about setting it up??

Hi,

The traction control can and will work without adding any additional sensors to the car.  In our existing startup cal " 1030 K20 Turbo 650.V1.19.cal "  The traction control has already been setup for an application we did here in house and it works extremely well.  If you're using another base cal just use the compare function and copy over all of the setting from the TC section.  If you're using that cal then just open up the TC template and turn it on =)

Just copy over the TC settings and tables using

File > Compare

it will the bring up a window showing you the two cals you are comparing and you can choose what to copy over

So I am guessing that if there is not an option to compare TC settings between two maps then that they must be the same just not turned on?  If this is the case is there anywhere that I can read about what ever thing does on it because I am not sure what some the the different options are?
