30-1220 EMS has been released for the '99-'02 GM LS1 F-body Cars!

Please note that these EMS's use V1.21 firmware. The V1.21 firmware is a minor change from the V1.19 firmware so that the speedometer is controlled correctly. If you do NOT have a 30-1220 EMS, there is no advantage of running the V1.21 firmware so we recommend sticking with the V1.19 firmware to keep things simple.

If you anticipate tuning the 30-1220 EMS, we recommend that you download the startup calibration and V1.21 firmware, and most importantly, download and install V1.21 definition file. (GIN file) Without the V1.21 definition file installed, you will not be able to connect to the 30-1220 EMS.

Attached is the 30-1220 Startup Calibration, V1.21 Firmware, V1.21 Definition file and the 30-1220 Instructions.

We will be posting the full install software on the forum here shortly.

AEM's Programmable Engine Management System is legal in California for racing vehicles only, which may never be used on public highways.

So is this a completely new box, or is it a circuit board that goes into the stock computer case?

Your stock ECU top cover is reused but the rest is all new.
