30-1020 ser 0071 needs upgrade from 0.73

Ran into an oldy, 0.73 on a 1020-0071.
I intend to run AEM Pro Classic and upgrade to 0.94 or can I use AEM Pro to go directly to 1.03? Were there any hardware upgrades that AEM will need to do on the old serial 0071?
I noticed no "Update EMS Firmware" on the AEM Pro Classic. Do I use "Install ECU" or will I see "Update EMS Firmware" when I connect? (Car will be driven in from a distance, or I would just connect to it.)
Thanks
