Just some good info that might help some other people out (and save hours of tuning frustrations)...We just wrapped up a tune on a turbo 09 Scion TC.  The car would hesitate hard, mostly at full throttle, though the AFRs and timing looked great.  After hours of messing with the tune, I talked to Henry at AEM.  I told him we were running the Z110 hex and he recommended flashing in an older version.  We flashed in the Z107 file and like magic, the car ran beautiful.  So for those wondering if it will work on the 09, yes it does but make sure you are running the Z107 hex.

Hope it helps.  I couldn't find much info on the 09 when I searched.

did you ever try z104.hex? how is your idle on z107? do your afr's vary quit a bit in idle? does the car sometimes die when comeing to a stop or starting at a stop? is throttle a bit more laggy than stock?

I have a 99 Solara SE V6 with the FIC installed. The car runs fine, but I have a CEL for a random misfire, #3 and #5 cyl misfire. I got the CEL with the old spark plugs and wires, changed them, and still got it. I'm not intercepting the crank signal, only tapping it for an rpm signal and no using the cam signal. I've double checked the wiring, all injectors are wired correctly......i just don't understand. It idles perfect, I can go WOT from a dead stop to the top of 5th gear and not feel, or hear a thing. I'm just sick of constantly clearing codes only to have it show up the next time i start the car. Any ideas? I might try taking it out the car and seeing what happens.

I installed the bypass harness, and put everything back. First time about half a mile down the road, i got a CEL for the #1 ignitor curcuit. I blame that on loosely putting everything back. I pulled the FIC out and tucked the wires back in, so far the car has fired about 6 time through out the day w/o throwing a CEL. I don't get...I've been over the wiring way too many times, I've even redone #5 and #3 injector in/out just to make sure I didn't have them wired backwards, but I ALWAYS get  CELs for those 2 cylinders. I wonder if the fic is defective....
