Will not crank - 1030 k20a2 box

i installed an 30-1030 box into my 94 civic. the motor will not crank over on the 1030 basemap. should i try the 1070?
it has a stock k20a2 with i/h/e. the car was running last week on kpro.

wont crank at all ? i think you can crank the car even without the ecu, its an ignition signal to crank the motor.. not ecu related i believe..
