If it's not too much trouble, could you shoot it my way as well?

myjunk22@comcast.net

I'm coming from the 2J world over to RB's and am curious how similar the timing curves are. Not to mention that I'm now in Japan and have nobody to lean on. Maybe one or two AEM boxes out here?

There are some differences. The RB 26 do allow you to be a little more aggressive ignition timing wise especially when dealing with low octane fules.

I'm running a Tomei full counter bottom end, ported head, Veilside intake/Infinity TB, 1200cc's and my GT42/45 should be here next week  grin . After cutting the flange off the Greddy mani and clocking it to clear the valvecover, I *should* be back in business.

Thanks,
Ryan

Are you doing it a 240?
Dear Crispeed would be kind to email the ignition rb26 map to me as well, michael@customsoundworks.com  Finally someone else that might be able to help me with timing.  I have a single rb26 in a 90 240sx hatch. I have been having issues with hi knock though, my A/F are pretty rich as well 10.2-11.3 .  Your car is very impessive!
I love the RB!!!    Thank you very much for help.

Just like many other respected tuners Chris isn't going to share his hard work (the AEM calibration) from this car with anyone. Figured I would respond about it since he didn't
