today at the drag strip I changed the rpm settings for my antilag.  I changed the 2step ingnition cut from 4000 to 3000 and also changed the 2step retard rev from 3600 to 2600.  I realized this didn't help me launch any better so I changed it back.  Now I have a problem, My boost wont go over 10psi.  Formerly 17psi.  Does anyone know why this happened?  I am not the tuner but the owner of the car.  My tuner is currently unavaliable and I have annother race tomorrow.  Why o why did't I save the previous map before I started messing around?

You might have mechanically damaged something.  That can happen if you remain in this mode too long.

The first step is to get the map from the tuner.  If you still have issues, look into turbo or valve problems.

Yea, I am tyring to get the map from the tuner.  The shop closed down but I have his phone number, he is just hard to get a hold of.  I am sure the mechanics of the engine are fine.  It still runs great just won't boost past 10psi its like the boost solenoid went bad and now I am on wastgate or something.  Or the ems isn't controlling the solenoid anymore.  I didn't use the anti-lag but for one tree so I doubt it messed anything up.  no bad sounds or anything just no hi boost.

Well all is good now, I got the calibration file emailed to me from my tuner and the car is back to good.  I don't know what I did to her but lesson learned.  I would love to take a class to learn how to tune these puppy's is there anyone offering this?

AEM offers a great class, but it's normally only open to dealers with tuning experience and a in shop dyno.

The factory tuning class doesn't train you how to tune, it teaches you how the EMS works.

For the "how to tune" question, check these guys out:

If you still have the cal that you messed with, do a Compare and see what the differences are between it and the fresh cal that you got from the tuner.
