what is included in this version?
Does it just adress issues with 3.01?
And does it require a reflash of the f/ic?

I installed this software. It required a flash of the FIC as well.

did you upgrade from 3.01 to 3.04, or from 2.01 to 3.04?

Both v3.01 and v3.04 requires the same hex file. (x300)

That's correct. It needed the x300.hex file.

how come you guys took out the option of entering TPS voltage value manually?
that is a very useful tool to troubleshoot TPS related issues.
i think the FIC gauge should display TPS voltage instead of %, or at least have an option to display voltage.

MEICALNISSYEN, I'm sorry but I don't understand your question.
The FIC version 3 software is the best one to use. You can download it for free using the link above. The instructions will be installed to your C:\Program Files\AEM\FIC folder, there are a couple of PDFs, please read them both before installing the FIC.
It doesn't matter if your car has a MAP or MAF sensor. You can wire your stock sensor to the MAF channel, the Analog A channel, or the Analog B channel and it should work just fine. The stock ECU just measures the sensor voltage; it doesn't know which channel of the FIC it is connected to.
Hope this helps,
SB

Sorry, I phrased it that way because I had read all the previous posts regarding uneeded upgrades, upgrades that required alot of fixing by the user, upgrades that reset parameters, upgrade files that needed prior instaltions to work ETC
I wanted to avoid that

Both v3.01 and v3.04 requires the same hex file. (x300)
Can we clarify this and state that you should not apply this upgrade if you require the z110 hex file?
Or perhaps any hex file other than the x300?
Maybe add a warning in the 1st post?

Crazee D,
No warning necessary, but here's some clarification:
The FIC uses two chips, the main chip (x300.hex) handles some things and the slave chip (z104.hex or z110.hex) handles other things. Among other things, the slave chip handles the injector measurement and control strategy.
For instance, if you plan to install the FIC in most Dodge/Chrysler, Mazda or Hyundai vehicles, you will need to flash the slave chip to z110.hex firmware. If you plan to use the new V3 software, you will need to flash the main chip to x300.hex.
Hope this helps,
SB
