Yep, looks like the link is broken.  Sad

Anybody else want to host it?  Or could we please please please please please turn on attachments in this forum??

On the previous page, just before "BoostedVR4" said he'd host the file, I had already posted the file.  My links are probably more reliable since I've been around a lot longer.  I host a lot of files for this forum.

The complete quote BoostedVR4 should have made was "I don't have the original library that was posted, but managed to scrape up one that I use on my 3rd gear pulls."

If you understand how the math works, you'll know that just like the original math that was posted, mine is the same in that it will require you to customize it with the weight of your car, coef. of drag, wheel specs., gear ratios, etc.

You've got to be kidding me... Did you somehow miss the whole conversation here?!  8O

Thanks for proving my point though.  While BoostedVR4's link is unrelaible, mine is still rock solid.

The link is still the same: http://ErichMoraga.com/Eclipse/AEM/3rdgear.mth

Thanks to whichever of the mods added the attachment to my original post, and made this thread a sticky!

For the past few weeks, the math library has been showing me 296whp and 337 lbs torque.  I went to the dyno last Friday and did this:

Awesome man!  That's darn close...looks like the library was about 2-3% lower than the dyno.   Was the curve shape dead-on too?

Ehh pretty close.  Right up to where the plot drops off on the maths.  (round 5k)

Um...if you're losing 2K RPM on the HP/TQ graph at the end of the run, the smoothing on your library is up WAY too high.  I usually lose a few hundred, but not much more than that.  Email me a couple of sample logs, and a copy of your library, and I'll adjust the smoothing for you.

Seems to be working for me but my plot drops off WAY before I end the pull like many others have experienced. I'm only using 1 sample rate slower than 250 with the internal logs. Any idea how I should adjust the sampling rate to yield better results with the lower sampling rate?

Also, anyone know the CD_Area of a supra?
