I currently am using a 3.5 Bar AEM MAP on a 6 psi boost KB setup. Is there any reason to change to a 2 Bar AEM MAP? It was suggested to me that the 2 Bar MAP may provide a more accurate reading with the lower boost.

I read that all MAP sensors operate within the same voltage range, 0-5V, so as you increase the maxiumum load it can read, you cram more into that given space. In other words, the higher the bar, the LESS resolution you get across the entire band.

So my answer to your question would be "yes".

I've also read that a stock Honda MAP sensor can read up to 11 psi. I don't know whether you have a Honda or not but maybe other manufacturers stock sensors have a similar range.

it really depends...theoretically you gain more resolution with a lower bar map because of the 0-5 scale like shaundrake had stated...however if your breakpoints aren't linear then you could get more resolution wherever you need it.
