can't create new log under graph section of AEMLog

Hey All
I can't create new log under graph section of AEMLog

I've read thread http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.php/topic,23299.0.html
but when I opened AEMlogger for the first time I did not see the pic in #2

worse still is when I click on Graph
THE GRAPH SETUP OPTION IS GRAYED OUT AND NOT AVAILABLE




 

I've tried uninstalling the software and re-installing it with no luck

I'm about to sell the AEM if I don't smash it into bits first! grrrr......

Like he said. You first need to log data in AEMPro and open it with AEM Log

How do I log the data?
I downloaded the AEMLOG pdf, but there's nothing in it about how the data is captured, only about the graph plotting
