Before crash, i took that sreenshot because computer was staying like that for few minutes.

Now i can't access anymore the AEM EMS.

What can I do to make my unit work again.
Now I feel that I should not have touch the damn thing.

Please really need advice. Already sent email to the tech.

Have you tried using a different laptop to connect to the EMS.  That is where I would start.  Check the Serial cable connection to the ems, it is possible that is it not fully seated.  If nothing else pull the ems out of the car and reconnect everything, just to make sure that everything has a good connection.

Hello,

No, I wasn't able to use another laptop yet.
I just pick up the workshop one with integrate serial port, so waiting to get home and give a try.
Also my EMS is a plug and play unit, so no special wiring made by me.

Last night I searched for 4 hours and read lot of stuff on the forums
Those infos might help.

I have 2 cal. map for my AEM EMS made by a tuner, one for 93oct and one for C16. version 1.19 both.
I wanted to load the C16 but when uploading the map it keeps going online, offline, online offline ect... until the progress bar get to 100% and tell me file wasn't succefull uploaded.

I was thinking I needed to upgrade to 1.21, so I try to do it and failed.
And here I am, can't connect to my EMS.

I didn't find anyone on the forums who used to have problem like me, so I REALLY hope my EMS is not lockup because of firmware upgrade failure.

Thank you for your time, really appreciate.

Ok I tried to the computer without using serial to usb.
Now I'm getting another error.

ECU Status windows shows:

Parity Error
Offline
Online
Break error
Parity error
ect....

But does it means I'm only having connection issue and didn't screw up the EMS?

If it crashed under firmware update, you will need to find out how to force it to take a firmware update via some sort of bootstrap. Most likely involves a RMA.

It is Memorial Day weekend, most places are closed through Monday.  I would expect that you should get an answer on Tuesday or so.
