Hi all, im about to install a direct port nitrous system to my mr2 turbo.

Im wondering whether the AEM can supply enough ohms and amps to the solenoids.

Theres 4x solenoids in total, 2x fuel 2x nitrous,

The two fuel solenoids between them require 6.8ohms/ roughly 20amps.

The two nitrous solenoids between them require 2.6ohms/ roughly 8amps.

Any info/help appreciated!

Cheers Michael.

So use the AEM to just switch two relays?

Would a relay be able to pulse fast enough?

Thanks Michael.

The solenoids/pulseoids are progressive and as such im wondering whether the relays will be able to "switch" over fast enough, and if so im wondering whether they'd not last long enough/burn out.

This is the system i'l be installing,

Thanks for your help,

Done a little research and it seems that i need to use a solid state relay to be able to be pulsed.
