OK, so I read somewhere on here that the AEMTuner software automatically recalculates MicroBitSec, whereas, on the Pro software, everyone was having to manually do it. How can I confirm this is happening? Here is what I tried to do to verify, but it didnt work:

1) I opened a map with Pro that had a MicroBitSet of 30 that I know needed recalculating. I did a test recalculate, and it changed the MBS to 20 instead of the 30 it was at prior. I closed this map down WITHOUT SAVING IT, so that it was still at the original 30.

2) I then opened the same exact map in Tuner, so that it could do what ever it does behind the scenes when loaded. Then I saved this map (that I assume should have been rescaled upon loading automatically) under a different name.

3) Lastly, I opened the newly saved map back in the Pro software to see if the MBS was at 20. Unfortunately, it was not. It was still at 30, like it hadnt been modified at all.

So how do I know if it is really doing it or not in the Tuner software? Thanks for any help to clear this up for me!

PS - Also, I am on version 0.83....Is there any plans to release newer software anytime soon? Thanks again!

AEMTuner won't recalculate microsec/bit unless you try to increase the fuel map beyond its original limits. Open your calibration with AEMTuner, open the fuel map, highlight the highest values and make a large increase to those cells. Tuner will give you a warning message indicating when the map is being rescaled.

But shouldnt the MBS always be set to the lowest value possible for the given map? In the case of my test above, in Pro, it took it from 30 to 20 when I manually did it, so there was definitely room to move and get closer to 255 in some areas. So why wouldnt it adjust it automatically in Tuner just the same? I would think it would still try and take it closer to 255 where it could, with out me having to make any manual adjustments, which should put it at 20 like in the Pro software? Or, are you saying that the first time I try and make any kind of adjustment at all, it will then take that opputunity to make the rescale? Thanks for the fast response.....much appreciated!

OK, disregard above post. I finally got my hands back on the software and got it to work just as you stated. As soon as I made the very first change to a field, it prompted me to recalculate. I did it and saved the file. Then I opened the file back in Pro, and the MBS was at 20 like it should be. This is awesome! Thanks for your help!
