i need a laptop thats small enough to fit in my supra... i seen these atom laptops at bestbuy... anyone tried using one on their car? just needs to fit in my glovebox cause thats where it will stay.

As long as it's running Windows, it should be fine.  I've been using a Mini 9 that I picked up for under $240 shipped from Dell.

if you want something that's going to last and not fall apart look at the itronix gobook. Ebay usually has them used and they're mil-spec. They're not cheap like the run of the mill laptops now.  They're perfect for tuning, touch screen, backlight keyboard, serial port.

If we used it,theres an many options made,but sometimes the it is already nice to use that things..

Exactly which units are you referring to? The only ones I see on Ebay are the tablet versions itronix, and they do not have serial ports.

The laptops,however, do have serial ports... Not sure about them being touch screen though..

I've been looking at the Eee PC Atom (That's the one you're talking about, right?)
It looks like a great little car-puter,  but like everything else newer than about a Pentium III, you have to use a Serial to USB adapter, because nothing has Serial Ports anymore (aside from $4-$8000 military/police type laptops)  I checked into the itronics gobooks as you mentioned, BlackSaleen.  Nice!  but you ain't fooling when you say "they aren't cheap"
