I have the Serial Gauge and Tru Boost gauge. Right now I have the Water temp and O2 working on serial gauge from the default settings on the AEM ecu. I'm trying to connect to the Serial gauge directly to my laptop with but the 'Download to gauge' button is greyed out and I cannot upload the new calibrations settings to the gauge? I tried to use the 'Test' function on the software but again nothing seems to happen. Should I see the numbers that I set in the 'Value' to show up on the gauge itself when I click on 'Stream'? I'm thinking that it may have something to do with the com port settings that may be causing a comms issue? What should the com port settings be? I used the same settings as the ones used on the AEM Pro under Telemetry but still no luck..

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

You can not connect it directly to the PC, you need a so called "NULL-Modem"

That was the trick for me..

Geek:

Which one worked for you, specifically?

After experiencing the same problem as the OP, and seeing your advice, I purchased a Null Modem from Radio Shack...  Still having the same problem.

Any thoughts?
