Ok, let me try this again. Wanting to keep current, I downloaded the latest wizard file updates, listed in this section, above. Once I started to use them on cars, I noticed extremely poor control of several different types of injectors that had worked perfectly awesome with older wizard setttings. Cars that could idle at 13.5 A:F were suddenly only able to idle at a very rough 11.5 A:F. Copy pasting the older wizard settings into the battery offset table completely resolved the issue. This has happened with several different vehicles with several different kinds of injectors.

Is there something else going on here? Are new these settings really that far off?

Wow, thanks for pointing that out. More info would be helpful here...  which injectors this happened with, old battery offset vs. new battery offset tables, which version of AEMPro you're running, approximate age of your old wizard file and a copy of the old wizard file if you happened to save it). If you could post that info here or email me directly I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

I noticed this on 3 cars. 2 had Precision 1200cc injectors and one had RC 1200s, all three were 30-1100 EMSs with the OEM Toyota resistor pack in place. The old settings I was using were from the "full software" download for the current version of AEMProstill listed here, as of today. I donloaded the wizard file update to get a car with Bosch 1600s running a bit better (the car I downloaded it for worked surprisingly good, stable 13:1 idle @ 1000 rpm on regular gasoline with 42 psi of fuel pressure) but other, different PN Bosch 1600s seemed to run worse, though I'm not super sure on that as those cars and injector part numbers were new to me after I updated the wizard...

Did anything come of this? I just upgraded to 1.19 from 1.11 and had copied in the "new" wizard file from "Wizard File Update as of 09/18/2008" thread.  Is this the fixed version?

Thanks,
