Hi all - I installed the analog 30-5130B wideband in a 2006 Rhino with a swapped Rotax 800 and an FI controller.  The gauge read fine my first 3 outings, then last time it would read correctly after starting the engine, but after awhile would read very rich (8.5-9.5) for no apparent reason other than maybe bouncing around in the sand dunes.  My next trip out I will bypass the FI controller temporarily and read the plugs to try isolating if is the gauge, FI controller or something else.  This post may be premature as I am not sure it is the gauge/sensor or something else yet, but wanted to be informed if this particular gauge may have an issue that would cause this type of basic scenario like the initial calibration upon startup changing or whatever?  Thanx in advance......LBR

I´m the same problem.  My UEGO gauge is the most part of the time in 10.0  however there is no gas, it´s still in 10.0

Please help us ¡¡¡       cool

Thank you very much.

I have bypassed the FI controller, check all connections and grounds to no avail and it is acting even worse as time progresses.  Sometimes when initializing with a cold engine, it only "pegs" out at about 16 instead of pegging out to full lean.  When the engine starts, it reads too rich, around 10.5-11.  Shut engine off, re-initialize with ignition and most of the time it will then read 12.5-13 for awhile of riding, then slips close to full rich 8.5-9.0 or so.  Consistantly is getting worse and doing it more.  Only troubleshooting not done yet is the o2 sensor / brakeclean on rag.  Is this sounding like gauge related or sensor related guys?  Was thinking maybe wire routing getting inductive RF, but the first 3 trips were fine when I first installed it and nothing had changed, then problem started......Thanx

sounds like the sensor is on its way out.

The latest - tested the sensor w/ brakeclean in rag method - 3 tests - after sensor warmup light went out, gauge was pegged lean.  Fine and good.  When the sensor was put in rag, gauge would stay pegged lean - wouldn't even sweep towards rich any.  1st and 3rd tests were duplicates of each other.  The 2nd test did the same except the error light flashed 5 sets of 3 blinks.  From these 3 tests, I would assume that it should not work at all, but it still does, not correctly, but still works.

Again, first 3 trips out to play it worked great and I got my fuel controller pretty close to correct A/F, but since then every trip out is getting worse.  Last time it started out at 12.5-13, then within a few minutes it read at full rich 8.5, and when I let off of throttle completely, would only sweep to 13.0 instead of full lean 18.0.  Not  angry, just huh

Should I check anything else such as pin voltages (don't know what, where or how much) before blaming the sensor 100% and getting it replaced @ no cost under warantee or ?

Thanx

Well after replacing my head gasket, my wideband UEGO #30-4100,  is reading rich also. During start up its ok then Reads rich once warmed up and stays stuck at 10?? Could my sensor be bad?  Before I blew my gasket it was reading fine? now rich after I had the gasket replaced.
