Hello toyman,
Can you plesae attach your calibration file or send it to me at
julianserna@hotmai.com? I understand most of what you are saying except for the Rad Fan parameters. I would like to see exactly what they look like so I can grasp he whole concept about the Rad Fan Functions. My concern is blowing my fan up if I have both fans running at the same time.
I can understand turning LS5 on At Less Than a certain temperature, and turning LS3 on At Least a certain temperature, but how do I tell LS5 to turn on At Less than 190 and then off below 180? I dnt get the concept of turning fans off, I only see options for turning fans on!
From your response it seems that you haven't gone to the "function" button. When you click on Options then configure outputs you have two selections "outputs" and "Functions". Select rad fan and you will see two settings. Rad Fan On above and Rad Fan Off below set them at 180*F. This sets the on/off for the rad fan whether it's hi or lo. I have ls5 set at less than 190* and ls3 set at least 190*. So what happens is this. As the car warms up and when the temp reaches 180* the lo fan (ls5) comes on. If the temps keep rising then when it hits 190* the lo fan (ls5) shuts off and the hi fan (ls3) comes on.
What I at first didn't grasp was the fact that the rad on/off was common to both hi and lo.
