Hi:

I am new in this forum. And I think is a usefull one.

I just installed the W/M injection Kit in my Evo9. I have an electronic boost controller installed too. The only doubt i have is: Which wire of the boost selenoid am I supose to plug to the green wire of the boost safe, the one with de 12v or the other one?

Thank you for your help.

What kind of EBC are you using?  When activated the Boost Safe output goes to ground.  Depending on how your EBC is setup you may be able to use this ground directly or indirectly through a relay.

Thanks for you answer.

I have a Greddy Profec Type S Boost Controller.

Green wire 12V, white wire ground, at the EBC.

Red wire 12V, black wire ground, at the selenoid.

I assume that if you cut power to the boost control solenoid it's setup in such a way that you go to min boost and not max boost.  Basically I would power the solenoid using a NC relay.  Connect the Boost Safe wire from the water/methanol injection controller to the relay so when it goes to ground it powers the relay which makes it go open and cut off power to the solenoid.  If my assumption is correct this should reduce boost to your wastegate spring pressure.

You MUST verify that with the boost solenoid unpowered you get min boost before attempting to do this.

Yes that's correct, when I cut power to the boost control solenoid I go to the min boost.
So, I think this is the answer I was looking for.

Thank you very much.
