Yes it is Kev

Actually the mates gave trouble with the pdf wiring, wouldn't rev out cleanly
went back to the + to + and - To -

cycling pump may have been a polarity issue on the crank wires, it was repinned from 99 to 02 specs and rotor/ecu  changed to be flashable for rev limit and injector size change

That makes sense

Good luck this season and stay safe!

like i understand is that the fic 1910 does not have the fr choke and 47 ohm resistor in the inj in cicuit. thi sthe fic 1913 and 1915 have.

Now after installing this mod to the fic 1910 there is no fi lighy anymore. however the ngine idles very bad and does not rev cleanly> Backfire and yellow flames come out of the exhaust.

if i instal the crk wires like the pdf the engine does not start.

Connect the crk wires + to + qnd - to - and the engine starts.

I was wondering if there is another mod needed to the fic 1910. Maybe crk signal modification?

any help welcome.

I'am at the point to throw this fic in the trashcan. I have spent several hours checking my wires and they are ok.

regards.

You may want to try a 500-1K ohm resistor across the Crk+ in and Crk- in and/or a 5V Zener diode from ground to Crk + out (in that direction). This is to clean up the signal as well as attenuate it to a reasonable value so as not to confuse the factory ECU

Dear SV.

Before i try the menthioned mod by your last post i would like you to see what i found out today.

In my original ( the one that came with the fic ) the installation of the CRK wires are different than the one that i just dowloaded from this site.

Please inform witch one should be use. If teh dowloaded one now i kno why my fic does not work.

cheers

The second one should be correct and that is the way I would expect the newer Hayabusas to be wired (have not been able to have a bike in to test it). That was an update to the instruction manual since so many applications worked best that way.

Dear SV.

Just installed yesterday the wires like the updated method.

However the engine still run very bad. It's like the crk signal is not good.

could you send me a drawing of how the FILTERING RESISTOR should be connected.

This is becoming very confusing.

As i understand a filtering resistor consist of a Resistor and a Capacitor.

I think if you could send me a drawing and connection points would help me alot.

regards.

Hey gus i realy need some help solving my mentioned problem.

As i already have tried every possible explained solotion to solve this bad crank signal. no of the tried method works.

attch the screenshot taken from the crank signal outputted by the FIC to the original ECU.

I have asked previously about this signal but no response.

The technical assistance from AEM looks bad. Sorry to say this but reality counts.

If someone could help me out i would apreciate.

regards,

Give Garron at Adams performance a call. They have installed the fic on the Hayabusa as well as a zx14. They may be able to point you in the right directon. Adams Performance 704-662-0992. http://www.adamsperformance.net/
