I have a Universal box with the harness that I have had sitting around that I was going to use on another vehicle well I got software to edit the stock ecu for that car now. Right now I am swapping a LSx motor into a old skool volvo and was going to buy the F body EMS to get it to work I am wondering what the pros and cons would be of using my universal EMS vs buying a F body plug and play EMS. I am also running a 4L60e if that helps. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

The only real problem with using the universal box is the coil triggers. The universal box is made to trigger the coil directly. As opposed to triggering an igniter. I would just go with the F body box. It also has something inside of it to work with the dash.
