Ok just a quik run down of my combo.

9 to 1 347,svo block afr cncd 185 heads, comp nx282hr camshaft, specs with my rocker ratio is 614 630 238 248 114.F1r pro charger blower,60lbs seman deka injectors 10psi,a1000 fuel pump, sumped tank-10 feed from tank to regulator, big rails.should make 600 ish whp.It also has a alky control water meth kit which i will be running.Ive got a pretty decent cold start hot start and idle map,how well does the auto map function work with wide band feed back,in other words how close does the map have to be for it to work, and how would i go about setting it up in the ecu? Also once the map is all right, can i run a stock o2 and run a closed loop map also?Sorry for the silly questions,i havent used aem except on this car.So any help would be cool. Thanks

O also im running a 3861 gm3bar map and a victor 5.0 intake with a accufab 75mm tbody.

automap and wb feedback are seperate from eachother. I normally tune the base fuel map first and make it about 5-7% on the rich side and setup the wb feedback so it's always taking fuel out, this way if the sensor fails the map will always be on the rich side. This is also dependent on the max feedback % you allow, I normally will allow the ecu to add 10% max and take out 7% max.  The wb closed loop works very well but your base map has to be very close or else it's just going to bandaid everything.

Automapping doesn't work all that well on the street unless you've got it setup correct...even then it's easier just tuning conventionally. Setting up the automap for a dyno session where you're using a load cell dyno, you can have it setup to make things a lot quicker when doing your sweeps.

Agreed, that automapping is not the best on the AEM (Which still surprizes me)  I'm still trying to figure out the O2 feedback graphs etc as well, it swings weird and I know it's something with the way the settings are on the gains etc..  But I haven't found a good map that anyone has made up to use as a base for the o2 feedback settings.
