I have installed a 30-1401 unit on my SN95 and wanted to convert my car to speed density. I have installed a GM 3-Bar MAP sensor and the manual that came with my AEM made a reference to an "enclosed sheet" for conversion instructions. However, no such sheet was included with my product.

My questions is, what exactly do I have to do to convert my car from MAF to speed density? As I have mentioned, I have already installed the GM 3-Bar Map sensor as per website instructions, but what else do I have to do?

Sincerely,

Julian Serna

Just remove the maf and wire in the map. Select the corresponding gm 3bar map in the wizard for your tune. When you start with the cal file be sure it's for a map car. If you're trying to use an existing cal file that was for the maf, you'll have to go through and change a few options to change it over to speed density.

If you're using an exisiting tune, and are having trouble converting it to speed density, post up your cal and I'll convert it for you. It's not tough but if you're not familiar with changing breakpoints and stuff like that the default stuff can give you some headaches.
