Hi Guys,

I have a Long CDI Pencil Coil which has failed. The resistance across the plug pins is the same on all coils but the failed coil has a higher resistance from the plug pins to the spark plug connection.

I bought these through a reseller in May this year(2009). What is the proceedure to return for a warranty claim?

Is there anything I can check to save wasting time and money sending one coil back?

Im in Australia, so would prefer not to go to the trouble of sendign a coil back if Im not likely to get a good result(exchange).

Regards,

Phil.

I did fail to mention that the running time of this coil so far is only approx 2 hours so has done very little work.

You have to call tech support for a RMA.
