Light comes on at accelerating- tank full

I have had this unit recently fitted on my Mr2 Turbo- mainly to stop knock at higher revs/boost. I am running a 50/50 mix. However i went to do a track day the other day, and on the motorway on the road there i noticed that when i give it some W.O.T the green water injection light will come on, and stay on, until i let off again. It was doing this my whole track day, and my engine management light kept coming on as if i was knocking again. I pressume its a problem with the WI as the 2 faults go together. Any ideas as there is nothing in the instructions for this or on the error codes. Cheers

If you've connected the GREY wire from the controller to the ground side of the LED and the LED is powered then any time there is output from the controller to the pump it will be indicated on the LED. Lower duty cycles will be dim and as the duty cycle increases the LED will get brighter and brighter. The controller won't turn the pump off until you've reduced your manifold pressure to a point below the START PSI setting.
I've seen some MILs/CELs flash to indicate misfire conditions on OBD2 cars which would probably indicate that you're over injecting and causing a misfire.
In the event there is an error detected in the system the LED will flash a "diagnostic" code. 1 flash is low fluid, 2 flashes is an open circuit, 3 flashes is a short circuit, and 4 flashes is a high or low voltage condition. These codes will flash until the error is fixed.
