Right i hope i get this right

have installed the AEM meth kit to an S2000 , and had it tuned via the nos map on the aem ems (1052), however the switch we have put it will does not tell the aem when to switch maps so at the moment the car is constantly running on water/meth

from what i can gather you can turn on a switch and it will tell the ems to change maps and work the meth...

any clues, tips diagrams would be very helpfully

I am having the same issue. The switch (yellow wire) is not changing the voltage on the blue or green wire. The EMS thinks the Meth Kit is always on.

Kinda lost with this; help would be appreciated.

Thanks

First, the yellow wire doesn't directly affect the green wire. The green wire is the error output driver and it only comes one if a system error (low fluid, open circuit, short circuit, etc) is detected.  The blue wire is the analog voltage output for boost which can be used for datalogging or to trigger some other function.  Neither one should be connected to the EMS as a way of indicating whether or not the water/methanol system is on or off.

Secondly, there are a number of different ways to use the injection system with an EMS and no one way is better than another.  Each application is really going to require a specific install and setup which means there are probably countless unique ways to configure the system.  Unfortunately this is beyond the scope of this thread but I encourage you to email me directly with your setup details.
