As I was doing my updates to my car I was trying to configure all of my fans so that they would switch on via the EMS control vs. a sensor.

What is required.
1 Relay - Jegs #10557
1 Electric Fan
1 High Side Output

Steps:
1. Pick your High Side Output.  For me it is High Side #2(HS2)
2. Mount the Relay close to the Fan, but not too close.
3. Run the +12v Supply from the Battery to the Relay
4. Run the Ground from the Battery to the Relay
5. Run the Ground from the Battery to the Fan
6. Run the Switched +12v from the Relay to the Fan
7. Run the wire from the EMS to the Relay
8. Configure the Outputs.
8a. From AEMPro -> Options -> Configure Outputs
8b. Find your output from the drop down list.
9. Make sure that under Basic Activation the Active box is checked.
10. Make every value under Active when = At Least.
Coolant = 190(what ever value you want your fans to come on at)
Load = -14.69 PSIg
RPM = 0 rpm
TPS = 0.00 %
Road Spd = 0 MPH

Note: Units will be in what ever you have them configured to.  So if you are running KPA the load units will show in KPA, I am running PSI.

*** You can also use a Function ***
If you Check the Rad Fan Function, you can have your radiator fan activate and deactivate at different coolent temps.

As usual with you Boz2, This is a really nice writeup.

I purchase all my relays and sockets from Digikey.  I used all Panasonic Mil Spec relays with protection circuits along with Tyco mil spec sockets during my recent build, and the marginal price difference is well worth it IMO.  side by side comparison of made in China parts -vs- Made in Japan / USA Mil-Spec components is a night and day difference.  I can probably scare up some part numbers if anyone's interested???

Yes please post up part numbers and links to websites that sell the parts.  We need to get this community very active with good information about the ems and how to make it kick ass.
