Hello, from my understanding the new AEMtuner software should be able to connect to serise 1 ecu's? When i try to connect tuner to my 1800 it fails to connect complains that it can see a ECU but wont connect. advising me to reset the software and the ECU.

System is a windows 7 laptop with serial interface.
I've tested the ECU and can communicate with AEMpro so this is down to AEMtuner or a setting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i find AEMtuner a lot nicer application to use than pro.

Does anybody know if I'm flogging a dead horse trying to get tuner to communicate with the ECU? I suppose I can save the files them use pro to upload them but there are some nice and handy parts of tuner I'd like to use on the fly. Not managed to get the car started yet. think 1 year old fuel and too much ignition advance is stopping it firing.

Be sure to post anything that stands out from changing over the Tuner.

Did you get your OMP issue addressed?

Yes and No,

The OMP got quiet for a while then started to click rather quietly so im not sure whats going on, but the OMP is not up on my list of prioritys im having problems getting the car even started now  cry I'm not sure if its a setting on the ECU or somthing wrong with the car physically.
