so we have completed the most painfull rebuild of the motor i have ever been through. wrong main and rod bearings, new billet crank machined wrong. timing gear /crank wrong size. you name it!!! anyway. it is time to put it on the dyno and we have a Paxton kit that was prevoiusly on this car, and the motor lasted 800 miles before the #3 rod bearing spun for the second time.( note this was on a NEW WARRENTY short block) this new motor should be fully bullet proof with the mack daddy oil pan and pick up rods pistons you name it.
we are looking at running the plug and play deal but i don't see one listed for the 04, so that is ? # 1 second would be the reliability?? i really do not want to have to deal with problems for the next 50 hours ( that will be unbillable). i see a list of problems on here and want to try and figure all this out pre installing in the car.

any help or advise would be great.

The SRT requires you to either hard wire the AEM in along with the factory computer. Or you can use an interface harness and basically "plug and play". Depending on how you go about interfacing the AEM, some internal modifications have to be made to the AEM ECU to work properly on the SRT.

I make a sealed weatherproof harness for this car and customize it depending on your needs. I only know of one other place that makes an interface harness. The last one i ran across with was not sealed and I ended up spending a lot of time (at the customers expense) repairing the wiring because of corrosion caused by the customer getting caught out in the rain.

It can be done
