F/IC6 Software Version 3.06 BETA
Disclaimer: This update is a beta version of updated software so please understand that it may have potential bugs. We have done in-house testing, but that doesn't guarantee that all bugs have been worked out yet. A previous install of software version 3.04 is required for this to work. Once this software is not considered beta anymore, a complete installer will be provided.
On top of the updates for internal logging in version 3.05, this update adds the option of a TPS-based fuel map (as opposed to a MAP-based one), increase in RPM so that the maps will go to from 12,000 to 17,000 RPM (aimed at motorcycles), and the addition of an acceleration enrichment pump emulator.
This software requires a reflash of the firmware file using the provided x3.81.hex as well as updating of older calibrations which is done automatically and will prompt to save with a different file name (new file cannot be used in older versions of the software, so make sure to back up your calibration files).
1. To begin, extract the provided "fic 3.06.exe" file to the following directory:
C:\Program Files\AEM\FIC\fic 3.06.exe
2. Create a shortcut to the new file on your desktop if desired.
3. Flash your F/IC with the new hex file provided in the zip file.
4. Backup any calibrations you will use.
5. Open the new software and when prompted to convert to a new file, select Yes.
6. Your F/IC is ready to use the new software.
Updated instructions are included in the zip file.

hello !! SV
Could you show me more about the function of Acceleration Enrichment Pump with some value.
Sensitivity will determine how fast or slow conditions must change......so if i put 90% , it mean high Sensitivity ?
how to count ?
Fuel percentage will set how much fuel will be added to whatever area of the map.......the percentage is counted according to the last cell i stay or the cell i abrupt change to ?
It was very easy to update the F/IC6 software to 3.06 BETA and firmware - X3.81 , and i did it very quickly .But my firend has an old fic6 ,and he failed during loading the firmware . I had tried to connected his old fic6 with my notebook , but i couldn't search the port . It looks like the ROM dead . How can i help him ? deliver to AEM ?
thank you

The higher the value, the lower the sensitivity. Basically how it works is the less sensitive (higher number) the setting is, the more abrupt the change in throttle will have to be in order to add the fuel you specify.

1.Did these caused by beta ver.?
a.
I had connected a switch to SW IN for dual calibration mode function , and a led to SW12 to know when the car is in heavy load.
Both the ground sides are screwed together to the car body.
I had drive it OK for few days, but today morning i couldn't star my car.
So i connected my notebook to fic and made it keep on line, then i tried to star the fire and it worked !!
After that,i unplugged the usb from my PC, then my car stopped running .
This time i plug in the usb and star the car again, then disconnected the fic from software, and my car stopped again at the same time.
At last , i disconnected the ground side from car body ,then i could star the car OK.
Sometimes i can read either A or B mode OK,but most of the times it always keep in A mode no matter how many times i turn on and off the switch.I remember the first time i connected the switch to the ground,i couldn't star the car both A and B mode until i set a blank map for B mode.
b.
I only used O2 and fuel maps and both depended on TPS.In low rpm and tps condition, i made the map only a little lean (AFR~15).It runs very smoothly, but every time drive to about 80-110km/h,keep the speed in low load and release the pedal, then lightly and quickly lift the rpm ~the car will stumble at first.Sometimes it will cause check lamp on for misfire ?
2.
a.
Did Acceleration Enrichment Pump work in a lean condition?
b.
When the tps is changed(added)and the rpm is lifted,no matter the cell is from rich to lean, the Acceleration Enrichment Pump function will still be activated ?
c.
Which Sensitivity value is the initial one for no changing 0%,50% or 100% ?
sorry for my poor English again!!
