Since the day one it got installed, it has always been not stable. Sometimes It works prefect for a few mintues but most of time its swing back and forth, all the way lean, I cant even get a read on that thing "---" It has been like that for almost half year now. I decide to really look into it this time.
When it works, it reads 13.5 where its tuned a little rich. Does that mean I have a bad O2 sensor?
This should be a simple question to experienced drivers. Any input is appreaciated.

Yea I just put mine in brand new reads 14.8 then jumps up to the - - - ......
What is going on?Huh  huh
How much exposure does the tip need???
this is down stream after the collector.
how much of a tube do we need after the sensor???
do we need back presure like restriction??
the application is a 1972 4 cyl vega full drag setup with 2 45 dcoe webers.
how far out does the tip of the O2 sensor need to extend in the flow of exhaust???

I found the Wideband O2 sensor installed on the skunk2 midpipe and the wire is pressed so tight .Is that the reason I dont get an accurate af reading?
