I have a problem with my flow gauge and the Resivoir.

the gauge was reading 700+ cc/min (or whatever units it reads in) at full power (20psi) with the 530, or 550, or whatever the larger nozzle was.  which seemed weird, but whatever, we kept going, and street tuned the car a few days later.  while we were street tuning the gauge stopped working all together.    first, it would read as it was building up, 100, 200, 300, 400, and then it would fall on its face. right back to zero.  BUT THE DUMMY LIGHT STILL INDICATED IT WAS SPRAYING.    So we dyno'd it anyway a week later and dialed it in just fine.  afr's and knock, and **** all indicating it was spraying fine....

My problem is the gauge. It wont read anything.  Can I warranty it through AEM?  if i have to cross that road?

also , is it normal for the resivoir to bleed air out of the breather?  It its mounted in the rear, (5gal) and is pretty full, about 3-4 inches from the top.  It is likely the liquid is splasshing the top of the res and getting the bottom of the cap wet, but i've never heard it release air before, and when it is wet, it bubbles through and leaks a little.  just heard it for the first time the other day. now it is doing it all the time.

also, it dosent seem like the fluid level is going down anymore. i marked it the other day, but havent had the chance to drive it a bit since.  but im pretty sure its not going down.  can you guys help me out?  i will gladly provide any information about the kit and install that you need.

i have a flow gauge and 530/550 cc/m nozzle (one nozzle, the larger one) as well as the largest res you offer.

thanks in advance

also, it sometimes flashes low fluid when the res is full.
and also, despite the fact the res seems to stay at the same level. the dummy light still turns on indicating that it is spraying.

is my pump maybe broken?  everything is brand new. now just barely even a month old

you realize that the led lights up regardless of whether or not there's flow.  you're tank could be completely empty and the light will still come on when you go into boost because the system is trying to inject.

are you using the filter that you're supposed to use with the flow gauge?  if you're not then it's safe to assume that you plugged it up with crap so now the little turbine inside of it is stuck.  i don't think AEM will warranty a flow sensor that you clogged up by not using a filter.

have you pulled the nozzle out of the intake and hit the test button?  do you even know if the system is actually flowing fluid or not?  maybe you're really not flowing anything and the gauge is right -or- maybe the sensor is plugged up.  do a little troubleshooting on your own and you'll probably figure it out.

are you using a check valve?  if you don't then the boost pressure will back feed through the line and blow bubbles in your tank.

speaking of tank, if the fluid level isn't going down wouldn't you maybe think that your system is not injecting fluid just like your gauge says??

you need to actually test the system and pin point the problem before tech support can help you fix it.

actually, i did not know that. that makes more sense.

not sure, i had a friends shop install it, and then found that it was the first kit they installed.......
i bought the complete 5 gallon kit and the gauge from a local track event guy down here.
how cn i check to see if this is clogged?

was gonna do this, but wasn't sure if it was the next step. i was hesitant about taking the threaded fitting back out of  my aluminum cold pipe before i was ready to weld a bung in for it...
problem is, i didn't install it, and i dont wanna **** with it unless i know what to do.

(are you using a check valve?  if you don't then the boost pressure will back feed through the line and blow bubbles in your tank.)

from what i read, my pump has a one way check valve. as it is the new one.  is this accurate?

(speaking of tank, if the fluid level isn't going down wouldn't you maybe think that your system is not injecting fluid just like your gauge says??)
yes. clearly. thats why i thought tere would be a problem. ive only used one tank before, i wasn t sure at first how fast it would use it. now i know its not working

i'll wortk on it.
