Vehicle:
1989 Ranger Truck, with a 4 cylinder Duratech motor, fully built with all Cosworth internals. The truck has everything to run low ten's (customers goal) and summer street use. This thing even has a "dog box"  The customer has been working on this build for the past three years.

Our part of the project:

1) Build a full "custom" race harness.
2) Supply and install a "Universal AEM-EMS"
3) Install all sensors and gauges required.
4) Set-up and tune for customers goals.
5) Plus a few small misc items.

After a bit of a delay we just got back to this project, but now it's up and running and back in the customers hands to finish up some misc items over the winter.

I would like to extend a big THANKS to AEM and SB for supporting this product, without them the project would have been a lot bigger head ache.

Below is a short start-up vid.

Finally got to the track with the customer to do some shakedown runs on low boost. Found a few minor quirks, nothing we can't fix over the next couple weeks, then we will get back to throw a few 30 pounders on the fire.

Setting up his traction control or boost by gear is going to be a must. LOL.

On the final day of the season, the customer did achieve his 2012 goal for this truck.

"DAILY DRIVEN, 10 SECOND TURBO RANGER".

I can see this truck getting into the single digits next season. This would not have happened without the AEM products and there support, thanks guys.

Didn't the owner initially go with the ems-4 on this project? if so what happened with this?

Either way glad to see more people pushing this block, they are rather stout for a 4 cylinder.

We discussed many options initially with the customer and settled on the 30-1900 with a race harness. The truck is daily driven during the summer months and raced regularly on the weekends. The 30-1900 was a great investment which has allowed us to bring out the full potential of the setup. The customer has not finished yet, he is now setting his sights on single digit times next year.  cool
